Unzip Task Dialog
You use the Unzip Task dialog to configure a Task which involves
unzipping one or more zip files. The Task will also decrypt files
during unzipping that were encrypted while being zipped using AES
encryption, an industry standard symmetric key encryption
methodology. The Encryption Password and Keysize must match the
settings used during the encryption process. The following sections
explain the function and configuration of each field in the
dialog.
Task ID
This field is generated by the application. It is the unique
numeric identifier that the program uses to keep track of each
Task. No configuration is necessary.
File Action
This field displays the type of Task that you are currently
configuring.
Task Name
Use this field to give a unique name to the Task that you are
currently configuring. Make sure to name your Tasks in a way that
will easily identify them in the Task list window.
Task Description
Use this field to give a more detailed description of the Task that
you are currently configuring.
Source Folder
Use this field to set the folder from which the Task is going to
obtain the file(s). Click the Browse button to select a local or
network folder. You may also type a valid folder path into the
field directly. If you will be obtaining the files from a location
on the network, make sure to use a UNC path (e.g.
\\server_name\share_name) rather than a mapped drive letter (e.g.
S:\share_name) because the NTS File Mover will not be able to
access the folder by drive letter when the Job is run by the
scheduler due to the constraints of the Windows operating
system.
Assigned Files
Use this field to assign one or more files to the Task. The files
must be valid zip archives. You can right click on a File To Be
Unzipped in this list to unassign the file from the list of files
to be processed by the Task. Click the Browse button (or right
click on a File To Be Unzipped) to launch the Assign File(s) To
Task dialog where you can edit the list of assigned files. For more
information about the Assign File(s) To Task dialog, please refer
to the Assign Files To
Task section of this help file.
File Date Range
Click this button to launch a dialog that allows you to limit the
date range of files that will be included in the Task. For more
information about this feature, please refer to the Task Files Date Range section
of this help file.
Destination Folder
Use this field to set the folder in which the Task is going to
unzip the file(s). Click the Browse button to select a local or
network folder. You may also type a valid folder path into the
field directly. If you will be copying the files to a location on
the network, make sure to use a UNC path (e.g.
\\server_name\share_name) rather than a mapped drive letter (e.g.
S:\share_name) because the NTS File Mover will not be able to
access the folder by drive letter when the Job is run by the
scheduler due to the constraints of the Windows operating
system.
Add Date Stamp
Click this button to launch a dialog that allows you to create a
destination root folder that contains a date/time stamp. For more
information about this feature, please refer to the Create Date/Time Stamped
Destination Root Folder Name section of this help file.
Do Not Use Subfolder Paths When
Unzipping Files
Check this box when you want files in the Task's zip files to be
unzipped only into the root of the Destination Folder even when the
files originated from one or more subfolders in the zip archive. If
this box is unchecked, files will be unzipped from the zip files
and placed into subfolders under the Destination Folder as they
existed at the time that they were zipped.
Encryption Password
(Optional)
If the zip file was originally encrypted, use this field to set the
password that will be used to decrypt the file(s) of the Task that
you are currently configuring. This password needs to match the one
used to encrypt the file(s). Type the password again in the Confirm
Password field to make sure that you have entered your desired
value.
Key Size
Use this field to set the Key Size that will be used to decrypt the
file(s) of the Task that you are currently configuring. This key
size needs to match the one used to encrypt the file(s).
