Add Or Edit Job Schedule

You use the Job Schedules dialog to specify the properties of the Job Schedule. The following sections explain the function and configuration of each field in the dialog.

Schedule Name
Use this field to give a unique name to the Job Schedule that you are currently configuring. Make sure to name your Job Schedules in a way that will easily identify them in the Job Schedule list window.

Job To Be Run
Use this field to select the Job for which you are creating this schedule.

Comment
Use this field to give a more detailed description of the Job Schedule that you are currently configuring.

Schedule Type
Use this field to select the type of schedule you want to create. Depending on your selection, you will be presented with different options:

  • Once. Select the date from the calendar.
  • Daily. Select the number of days that should elapse between Job occurences.
  • Weekly. Select the days of the week the Job should occur and the number of weeks that should elapse between occurences.
  • Monthly. Select the day of the month and the months of the year that the Job should occur.

Start Time
Set the exact time of day that you want the Job to start.

Advanced
Use this button to launch the Advanced Schedule Options dialog to set some optional schedule parameters. For more information about the Advanced Schedule Options dialog, please refer to the Advanced Schedule Options section of this help file.
